We as a school would like to complete a walking train to school. This is part of our well being initiative in the school to create healthy habits of being outside no matter the weather.
This will be for Key Stage 2 on Tuesday 8th April, when we will walk together in a large group.
On Friday 21st March, children are invited to come to school sporting crazy hair and wearing something red. It is a non-uniform day. It’s a fun way to show our support and creativity while raising money for a fantastic cause!
We kindly suggest a donation of £1, which will go directly to help those in need. Your generosity can really make a difference in the lives of countless individuals, and we appreciate your support in this effort. (Please see letter attached for more information)
Speak out. Stay safe. is a safeguarding programme available to all primary schools in the UK and Channel Islands. It aims to help children understand abuse in all its forms and to recognise the signs of abuse in a child friendly, interactive way. Children are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or Childline. Please read the attached letter for more information.
For the past few years, we have taken part in the Daily Mile Santa Run. This is a nationwide event that a great number of schools across the UK take part in. As the children thoroughly enjoy it, we will once again be having a Santa Run on Friday 6th December. Please read the attached letter for more details.
You may be aware of a recent news story about an individual in Northern Ireland who was involved in a large-scale catfishing case with devastating consequences. This has highlighted the potential dangers of Catfishing, and we want to ensure that you have the information and tools to keep your child safer online. Please see the attached letter for more information and how to download the Safer Schools NI App.
